Compass CHW Text Messaging Program

Compass CHW is a service of COMPASS CHW CORP. With your permission, Compass CHW sends text messages to members and Community Health Workers (CHWs) who use the Compass app.

What we send

One-time sign-in codes, visit confirmations and reminders, and alerts that you have a new message in the Compass app. Texts never include the content of your CHW's messages or other health details. We do not send marketing messages.

How you sign up

Agreeing to texts is optional and is not required to use Compass. There are three ways to sign up:

In the Compass app or website. Tick the optional text-message box when you sign up or confirm your phone number.
Through your CHW. Your CHW asks: "Can Compass CHW text you sign-in codes, visit reminders, and alerts when I message you? Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to stop or HELP for help. Is that OK?" If you say yes, your CHW records it, and we send you one confirmation text. Reply YES to start getting texts.
On a partner organization's form, such as a food pantry sign-up or event RSVP. Tick the optional text-message box, then reply YES to our confirmation text.

The text-message box reads: "(Optional) Text me from Compass CHW: sign-in codes, visit reminders, and alerts when my Community Health Worker messages me. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is not required to use Compass."

How to stop

Reply STOP at any time. You'll get one final confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to sign up again.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
